Treehouse Video is uniquely qualified to produce assessment materials for sign language interpreters. Dan Veltri, producer, is a certified interpreter with over 30 years in the field. Before founding Treehouse Video he served on the National Testing Board of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. He is an accomplished producer able to match current needs with available technology.
Treehouse Video was selected in 1995 to produce Performance Test videotapes for the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. The project involved producing 36 tapes for the Legal, Oral and Certified Deaf Interprerter (CDI) tests. In 2001, Treehouse Video was again selected by RID to produce the ASL version of the CDI Written Test on CD-ROM. Additional materials including test instructions and revisions to the performance test were also produced at this time.
In
1999, Treehouse Video was selected by the Colorado State Department
of Education to produce 48 videotapes for the Colorado Educational
Interpreter Performance Assessment.
In 2005, the NAD-RID National Council on Interpreting hired to Treehouse Video to produce the DVDs for its new National Interpreter Certification Performance Examination.
