Treehouse Video can turn training objectives into engaging and effective video programs. On the following projects Dan Veltri served primarily as a producer, working with writers, directors, crew and actors, coordinating the workflow, and ultimately designing and editing the final product.
Meeting the Challenge: Working with Deaf People in Recovery (1991) has drawn wide praise as an effective training tool for hearing drug and alcohol counselors. Produced by the University of California Center on Deafness, this video is available from Sign Enhancers (1-800-767-4461 voice; 1-888-283-5097 TTY).
Counseling Deaf People: A Skills Training Course (1993) is a three-hour video series produced jointly by the San Francisco State University Deafness Rehabilitation Project and the University of California Center on Deafness. It is available from Sign Enhancers. Treehouse Video was hired by St. Joseph's Center for the Deaf in Hayward, California to produce two programs: Working with Deaf Patients: An Orientation for Psychiatrists (1998) and Deaf Consumers in a Hearing Managed Care System (2001). Workout with Maryellen! Fitness in ASL (2001) features an amazing Deaf woman, Maryellen Lentz, who in her 70's has the energy of a 20-year-old!
