Tokens and Trinkets: Slavery in the Subways is a new piece written and directed by Florrie Burke and produced by Barbara Hammer. Treehouse Video has been hired to edit this powerful story about the first documented deaf slavery case, uncovered by police raids in New York City and Chicago in 1997. Stay tuned for more details.
